The Medium is a short horror/thriller written and directed by Ben Wydeven and starring Jarrod Crooks and Jeffrey Glenn.The Medium was shot on location at the Rogers Theater in Wausau, Wisconsin from December 2006 to March 2007.
The Medium premiered at the 2007 Wausau Film Festival on April 21st, where it was well received. It went on to play at several Wisconsin film festivals including 'It Came From Lake Michigan' and 'Wildwood' in 2007. It was awarded Best of Horror at Wildwood. In 2008, The Medium won Best Short at the WYOU film festival in Madison. In October 2009, The Medium aired statewide on the Director's Cut Halloween special on Wisconsin Public Television.
